Moscow. Planernaya

2009, 60x80, metal, oil, collage.

I was inspired to create this project by the timeless poem by V.Erofeev «Moscow-Petushki» and my daily commuting from Leningradskyi railway station to Planernaia station. The area along the railway lives its own life apart from the surrounding city. Here one can see some remnants of the Soviet past, and unexpected spots of the post-Soviet chaos, and the absurd reflection of the modern city life.
