In the outskirts of Moscow, in the surrounding of road junctions and new residential areas there is a hidden former settlement of Kosino — a few streets with old homesteads and simple wooden houses that remember lives of many generations, where the houses are heated with woods and water is taken from a local water well, and in the morning dwellers dress up and set off to conquer Vykhino underground station, or stay in the morning traffic jams to live another day like all other megalopolis dwellers. In the evening they come back to their “backwoods”, where horses walk, firewoods crackle and cuckoo clocks chime the time.
